A Weekend Tea Party as a Part of the Road to the Golden Globes0 comments

The 69th annual Golden Globe Awards will be presented at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Before that, the Los Angeles branch of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts held its 18th annual Awards Season Tea Party. It was time to Earl Grey, sandwich, jam and cream in one long preparation of Golden Globe.  According to the Press Association, stars have gathered for afternoon tea in what has become a ritual ahead of the Golden Globe awards ceremony.

Neil Stiles, BAFTA/ LA chairman invited Viola Davis, Meryl Streep, Michelle Williams, and another guest to raises the glasses and wish the best of British luck to the various nominees. Also attend the meeting were Hugo stars Sir Ben Kingsley, The Artist Stars Berenice Bejo and Jean Dujardin, Assa Butterflied and Chloe Grace Moretz, Ides of March Star Evan Rachel Wood and Emily Watson of War Horse.

They really appreciated and enjoyed the Earl Grey moment. In the next gathering moment, the day of Golden Globes Awards, perhaps they would not feel as relax as that moment. Kenneth Branagh, supporting actor contender said,” There’s a little ritual getting ready for the night. The day is one long preparation, so by the time you get inside that room, you cant help but be swept up with the adrenaline- not only for the involvement with your own movie if you’re lucky enough to be nominated, but just everyone else.”

In the Golden Globe Awards night, there will be amazing people across a crowded room, and the sense of celebrating the good things the movie business does is what it’s all about. There’re 25 of actresses, actors, films, and director take home the cup. And may the winners are they who’re not only concern on movie business but also live the movie with passion and dedication.
