Actress Sean Young, 52, was ‘shinning’ at the Oscars moment. Not because took home some awards, but because scuffled at post-Oscars party.

Police Cmdr. Andrew Smith said, “She was trying get into the party and couldn’t get in.”

According to the Associated Press business executive, Tom Januszwski, Young, who was wearing a ball gown, was taken into custody quickly. He said he saw a guard subdue Young by placing his forearm on her neck and head while other guards placed her in handcuffs and led her away.

Finally Young was placed under citizen’s arrest at the Governors Balls at 9:25 p.m.  She was booked at the Hollywood police station for investigation of misdemeanor battery. There were no details are available about the incident or the victim. In the end, she posted $20,000 bail and was released early Monday.

Young, who has starred in “Blade Runner” and “Stripes, spoke out overnight, demanding an apology from the Academy. It appeared that the actress didn’t mean to turn it become the chaotic party. The details reported by TMZ. Young was taking pictures with friends near the entrance to the Governors Ball when security guards realized she didn’t have a ticket and asked her to leave. Young left but then returned. The site said she was placed under citizen’s arrest when a guard may have touched her, and that she was accused of slapping him.

“I was just standing by the little line (outside the Governors Ball). I wasn’t bothering anybody,” said the unlucky Young.

“They said, ‘No, you have to leave,’ ” said Young.”I started to leave and the guard grabbed my arm and he started pulling me. And I turned around and I was pulling my arm away, and I struck him.”

It’s really unexpected that a ticket case could make the guard give a warning fiercely, and make an actress got an arrest. If it’s true that the guard thrown Young out roughly, Young is not totally guilty for slapping the guard. They perhaps prevented Young to be involved in the party because of her reputation. The actress tried to crash the Vanity Fair Oscar party in 2006 and in 2008 she entered rehabilitation for alcohol abuse after she was removed from the Directors Guild of America awards.

Fans agree that they will never be bored to wait and enjoy J.K Rowling’ most popular book Harry Potter. When J.K Rowling said that The Deathly Hallow is the last series of Harry Potter’s adventure, they hoped at least there will another book, another adventure, even though it will not be the next Harry Potter. And yap, it was leaked that J.K Rowling is preparing the new book. The news was already out before she tweeted, “As you may have heard, I have a new book out later this year. Very different to Harry, although I’ve enjoyed writing it every bit as much.”

According to The Guardian, Rowling’s next book will be for adults published by Little, Brown in the U.S. and U.K. So far, there’s no other details have been explained. The title, publication date and further details will be released later this year.

Remembering Little, Brown’s publisher David Shelley would be serving as Rowling’s editor, it was assumed that the novel is going to be a crime novel. Shelley’s crime fiction ties run deep: he started his career as the publishing director at Allison & Busby ‘an independent press strong in crime and thriller writing’ and ‘dragged it back into profit, introducing a line of library hardback crime novels’ before being hired away by Little, Brown to serve as ‘editorial director of crime and thrillers.’

Besides saying the book will be very different to Harry Potter, Rowling’s also said,” The freedom to explore new territory is a gift that Harry’s success has brought me, and with that new territory it seemed a logical progression to have a new publisher. I am delighted to have a second publishing home in Little, Brown, and a publishing team that will be a great partner in this new phase of my writing life.”

The two members band Sleigh Bells has prepared their recorded tracks and they are launching their new album Reign of Terror this week via Mom + Pop. It was featured by the New York Times an a Reign of Terror full album stream this week. Sleigh Bells performed the songs Comeback Kid and End of the Line of their upcoming album Reign of Terror.

New episodes of Stephen Colbert‘s Comedy Central The Colbert Report were suddenly halted this week. The network spokesman, Steve Albani, had this as the only explanation, “Due to unforeseen circumstances, the show will air repeat episodes on Wednesday, Feb. 15, and Thursday, Feb. 16.”

The crowd immediately poured out their assumption about the cause. On Thursday, the Wall Street Journal reported that the schedule change was prompted by an unspecified family emergency, although production could resume as early as next week. No date was given.

The audiences who have held the ticket to Wednesday night’s show, many of whom were already at the New York City studio, received a last-minute email canceling the taping “due to unforeseen circumstances.”

Some details came from the New York Post on Friday. The newspaper, citing sources close to the show, said the host, 47, took a break because of his 91-year-old mother, Lorna Colbert – to whom Stephen, one of 11 children, is said to be very close.

In 1974, the Colberts experienced the loss of their father James and two of Stephen’s brothers, Peter and Paul, in a plane crash. So although it’s not good news, it’s pretty reasonable for Colberts to halts the show.

According to ABC News, On Wednesday morning, the show promoted what would have been on that night’s program.

Finally Malachy the Pekingese became the best in the dog show. Last year Malachy competed in the Best of Show group, but Hickory the Scottish Deerhound defeated the dog. This year the Pekingese beat out the favorites like German Shepherd, Doberman Pinscher, Irish Setter, Dalmatian, a Kerry blue terrier and wire-haired dachshund to become America’s most prized pooch in Best in Show group. He beat a prize affenpinscher called Banana Joe in a most competitive group. Malachy whose smushed-in face frames a mop of flyaway fur and whose pace rivals a snail’s put on a peak performance Tuesday night, wobbling off with best in show at the Westminster Kennel Club.

Maybe they were only dog. But that was a contest. Whatever the contest, the contestant and the winner always been highly appreciated. The crowd, especially the handler was cheering along the event and hollering the dogs name at Madison Square Garden. Malachy’s handler David Fitzpatric who’s also a co-owner always on his side. The 4-year-old dog and rivals was also excited by the yells. Malachy’s pink tongue popped out from his black face, his eyes sparkling like black diamonds and swished his tail as he soaked in the cheers.

“He saved all his energy for the ring today,” David Fitzpatrick said. “No other dog moves like this,” Yap, Malachy is supposed to move with a “slow and dignified” gait. Fitzpatrick added,” “He doesn’t run. He has a dignified Pekingese gait,”

Judge Cindy Vogels chose Malachy in front of adoring supporter. The No. 2 show dog in the nation this year had heard it before, having taken the toy group here last February.

“Super dog, and he had a stupendous night,” she said. “There’s a lot of dog in a small package.”

Malachy is the fourth Pekingese won at Westminster and the first since 1990. Fitzpatrick said Malachy was likely headed back to East Berlin, Pennsylvania for a life in retirement.

Audiences was also cheering for the other categories. From the Sporting group, the German Wirehaired, Labrador Retriever, English Setter, Irish Setter, English Springer Spaniel, Irish Water Spaniel, Wirehaired Pointing Griffon were brought down after the first cut and then the Best of Group order went 1) Emily the Irish Setter, 2) German Wirehaired Pointer, 3) English Springer Spaniel and 4) Irish Water Spaniel.

The Working group was next, there were the Alaskan Malamut, Bernese Mountain Dog, Boxer, Doberman, Rottweiler, Samoyed, Standard Schnauzer and Tibetan Mastiff. The order for Best in Group went 1) Fifi the Doberman, 2) Boxer, 3) Alaskan Malamut and 4) Standard Schnauzer.

Finally, the Terrier group capped off the group competition. Brought down after the first cut was the American Staffordshire, Australian, Border, Smooth Fox, Kerry Blue, Scottish, Skye and Welsh. The Best of Group went 1) Chelsey the Kerry BLue, 2) Smooth Fox, 3) Skye and 4) American Staffordshire.

The ‘most awarded woman singer in a night’ record of Beyonce finally was tied by British neo-soul songstress Adele. Adele became the sixth artist to win six awards in a night (the last was the Dixie Chicks in 2007) and the youngest act (23) to nail the top three categories.

Adele is now a six-time Grammy winner, sweeping Album, Record and Song of the Year, as well as Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Short Form Video and Best Pop Solo Performance at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday (Feb. 12). Adele netted trophies for her record-smashing album 21 and hit singles “Rolling In The Deep” and “Someone Like You”.

Adele also presented performances to prove she’s really proper to be nominated and crowned by Grammy awards. She performs for the first time since her throat surgery last fall and she thanked the doctor who helped bring her voice back to the stage after a vocal cord hemorrhage last year. The 23-year-old singer showed off her restored vocal prowess with a dynamic reading of Rolling in the Deep and she earned a sustained ovation for the impressing voice.

Adele’s winning was little bit surprising because the most nominated act of the night is Kanye West. However West didn’t earn the disappointing result. The rapper picked up trophies for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for “All of the Lights”, and Best Rap Performance for “Otis” (with Jay-Z), and Best Rap Album for “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy”.
