The Founder of Facebook’s Rival, Diaspora, Died at 22

A 22-year-old co-founder of privacy-themed online social network Diaspora was found dead on the weekend at San Francisco according to the San Francisco coroner’s office report on Monday. Ilya Zhitomirskiy is one of four founders of Diaspora that serves as a “privacy-aware, user-controlled” social network as a rival of one of the world greatest social networks, Facebook. Dispora is a non-profit project, which showed in the Internet with its source code last year. The social network site raised $200,000 in just 39 days last year but ran out of cash recently and asked for new donations. Continue

The Drake “Take Care” album download leak has surfaced online recently. Last week a “Take Care” tracklist minus the features was released, now with the album just about a week away from November 15th, the official tracklist with all features has been revealed. Released under the Cash Money label, “Take Care” features guest verses from hip-hop’s infamous stars including Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Rick Ross, and Lil Wayne; as well as musical legend, Stevie Wonder. By typing the phrase into Google’s search box, people will see the screen performing a 360-degree spin. It is the latest such gimmick to appear on Google, following a similar fun in which users could adjust the angle of the screen by entering the word “tilt” as a search term. The same effect of a 360- degree turn can also be achieved by entering “Z or R twice” into the search bar. The attractive function works in Google Chrome and Firefox browsers, but unfortunately not in Internet Explorer. iPhone users can also do a barrel roll on their devices, but Android and Blackberry holders can’t see the amusing screen change on their Google search screen. A massive outage of BlackBerry data services began across Europe, the Middle East and Africa began on Monday at around 10:20 am BST and is still continuing, according to posts to Twitter by BlackBerry owners and service providers. Fusion Garage Released the Better Replacement for JooJoo

Fusion Garage has launched its new HP tablet named Grid 10. Unlike its predecessor, JooJoo that had a unique browser-based operating system and no support for third party applications, the Grid 10 is a 10 inch tablet with an NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core processor based on ARM design and an operating system based on Android. This is Fusion Garage’s second shot at the iPad, and it is clearly trying to learn from its mistakes as they produced the previous tablet, JooJoo. The JooJoo was a Linux-based tablet computer which was produced by the Singapore development studio. The history behind the production of JooJoo was when Michael Arrington announced that the CrunchPad project was dead. After the announcement, Fusion Garage CEO Chandra Rathakrishnan had informed him Fusion Garage would be proceeding to sell the pad alone and announced that the company has developed the CrunchPad which is now called as JooJoo on December 7, 2009. Setting back in 2008, people have heard about a computer worm named the Conficker Worm. The worm which caused relatively a panic as it was infecting a huge amount of computers was able to spread on its own and no one knew how to stop it. Now the worm has had time to cultivate by spreading a fear that as many as 12 million computers being affected by this threat and at the moment there is no antivirus which is capable to remove or clean this spreading threat.

Mark Bowden in a statement said that at the time the worm has infected millions of computers globally, organizing the world hugest “botnet” , a drone army of machines that, without the knowledge to their owners, was ordered at any time to unleash digital destruction that could bring down global communications systems, power networks, perhaps the Internet itself. People have no idea who created the threat, controlled it and how much progress has been made. Mark Bowden has added his explanation on Business Week that the threat is far from over, and that it has used the past three years building up its road and rail network readying itself for the big attack which can cause massive chaos.
