For those that will be in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World over the coming days and weeks, keep eyes out for some extra playfulness going on in Adventureland. Cast Members have begun to test a new interactive experience called Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom. Featuring extraordinary interaction with animated characters, Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom converts Adventureland into an immersive game enabling fans to cast spells. When the extra playfulness opens early next year guests will be able to cast spells and fight Disney baddies who are running to take over the Magic Kingdom. The guests will be armed with extraordinary playing cards that can be used as magic charms to overpower the baddies.
Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom will be a role-playing trading-card game that enables players to search for magic symbols that will lead them to the hiding places of the baddies. By casting different magical spell cards, these Sorcerers can do battle with Yzma, Kronk, the Evil Queen, Scar and numerous other baddies hiding throughout the land. From fireballs to frantic frogs and cyclones, there are spells to defeat each and every Disney’s bad character, with a simple flip of the wrist. The Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom in Adventureland is equipped with a number of new crates and mysterious key holes appearing, along with lots of hidden speakers, cameras, and other interactive elements which increase the great experience of adventure.
