ABC premieres “Once Upon a Time” which is one of two new shows expected to take advantage of the fairytale rage that is hitting television and the box office this year and next. The show premiered on Sunday October 23, 2011 on ABC at 8:00 pm. “Once Upon a Time” shows the collision between Fairy Tale World and the real world which was presented on the pilot of the episode. “Typically, we go into the Fairy Tale World in the first act. Sometimes it’s for a small chunk. We don’t have a rule that says we have to go into the Fairy Tale World once per act, but it kind of lays out that way for the most part,” said executive producer Steve Pearlman to Entertainment Weekly. “Last Man Standing” premiered Tuesday night on October 11 on ABC. The show was filled with the return of Tim Allen after his successful eight-year run on “Home Improvement”. Apparently, returning to a 20-year-old sitcom is hardly the boldest creative move ABC and Tim Allen could have made. According to his performance tonight, the audiences should give Allen credit. Since he left sitcom, Allen improved each year on “Home Improvement” run and is clearly on top of his sitcom show as he knows how to deliver it. Continue

The Bachelor Pad Television show is adapted from bachelor pad. It is a slang term for a house (pad) in which a bachelor or bachelors live. Bachelor Pad is an elimination-style two-hour American reality television game show that debuted on August 9, 2010 on ABC. The show features contestants from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, who compete for a final cash prize of $250,000.
Jake Pavelka is continuing to fuel drama on Bachelor Pad 2. The former star of The Bachelor found love and than dramatically lost it with Vienna Girardi. He finally found a new hook up playmate in Princess Erica Rose on the episode and also continued to spar with Vienna’s new beau Kasey Kahl. In hopes of “swaying the vote,” Jake took up with Erica Rose, whom you’ll remember as the “ugly girl” that every guy chose to throw an egg at last week. Jake believed that making out with her would help his chances at staying on the show, while Erica was just stoked to have a test subject for what seems to be her newly injected lips. However, what he has planned to stick out to the television didn’t work and it leads him to the end of his presence at Bachelor Pad.
