Former NASCAR driver Jeremy Mayfield was detained in western North Carolina on Oct. 1 after cops said they found methamphetamine inside his home. Mayfield, 42, was charged with possession of 1.5 grams of methamphetamine. Other than the possession of drugs, Mayfield was charged with possession of stolen goods of businesses property. According to wbtv.com, cops got a warrant to search Jeremy’s pad after receiving a tip about stolen goods on the property. The man known as Phoenix Jones Guardian of Seattle, the self-proclaimed Seattle “superhero” who has received international media attention, was arrested and booked into King County Jail early Sunday morning for about 2:30 am for investigation of assault. He was charged with assaulting two people who police said were “dancing and having a good time” as they walked to their car. The superhero sprayed all four victims with pepper spray. Phoenix Jones and his band of civilian superheroes have been fighting crime on the streets of Seattle, but as unmasked by police after they arrested him, the Phoenix Jones true identity was released to the public. A player who is well-known with his career-ending controversy due to his prolonged injury during the 2008/2009 season with Memphis Grizzlies was arrested on Wednesday. He was detained after the airport guards caught him trying to bring a loaded gun through security at Lambert Airport in St. Louis on Thursday. The 29-year old was busted at 3:30 p.m. after TSA personnel contacted the police while they found the weapon during an X-ray screening.
