Houston Texans quarterback Matt Leinart left Sunday’s game versus Jacksonville with a left shoulder injury which overshadowed the 20-13 Houston’s win over Jacksonville. Now, the Houston Texans quarterback could be out for the rest of the season following the injury. Following their win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, coach Gary Kubiak said post-game X-rays were questionable while Leinart later added that there is a ”pretty good possibility I won’t be coming back this season.” Leinart’s shoulder could be a serious setback since The Texans had already sidelined starter Matt Schaub for the season. Quarterback Matt Schaub was lost for the season on Monday when it was revealed that he suffered a Lisfranc injury. A Lisfranc injury is a fracture of the foot in which one or all of the metatarsals are displaced from the tarsus. Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub is considered to be out for the rest of the season due to the injury while coming out of the end zone late in the second quarter of Houston’s 37-9 win over Tampa Bay on Sunday.
