The Detroit Lions finally got to see their first round draft pick, defensive tackle Nick Fairley was active and made his NFL regular season debut. Fairley was used as a reserve defensive tackle behind Ndamukong Suh, Corey Williams and Sammie Hill against the Bears but did not record a tackle. However, he made a couple of quarterback pressures to the Chicago Bears. “It’s ‘Monday Night Football’ and I’m just glad to be out there for the first time,” Fairley said after the game. “Things got going and I got rolling and everything was good.” Continue
