The Detroit Lions finally got to see their first round draft pick, defensive tackle Nick Fairley was active and made his NFL regular season debut. Fairley was used as a reserve defensive tackle behind Ndamukong Suh, Corey Williams and Sammie Hill against the Bears but did not record a tackle.
