Last week the talented hopefuls on The X Factor were trimmed to just 12 finalists. 2 days before, viewers finally got in on the action as voting begins online, by phone, and on Twitter starting after the show. As one of television’s most buzzed-about programs on social media, it only makes sense that the show would tie together with the power of the willingly available and plentiful opinions of its socially know-how viewers and give them the right to vote via Twitter. After signing up for Twitter account, the voters were required to follow: @TheXFactorUSA and the votes were counted through Direct Messaging, instead of written on Twitter chat. Direct Messaging is a private way to communicate on Twitter. Votes were not publicly able to be seen and Tweets did not count as votes. Continue
Chicago’s auditions opened with Brock (18) and Makenna (22) from Springfield, Mo., a young blonde couple with obvious genetic and harmonic compatibility showed up in the Chicago regional elimination round. He’s in love with her and when they were asked about their relationship, Makenna was clueless and said they’re just friends. Although he had his heart broken for what she said, he managed to sing together with her so well in the show.
A Mississippi African American teenager, Skyelor Anderson (16), said that he wanted to be one of those rare black country singers and he was so good performing at the show. He offered up a version of “Must Be Doin’ Something Right”by Billy Curtington. When the music on his backing track cut out, he kept singing without hesitation and he said, “I came too far to stop!” when the judges told him that they were impressed and sent him through to the next round. The next is 30-year-old burrito maker Josh Krajcik from Columbia who opened his mouth to sing “At Last” and blew everyone away. He brought the song with his voice which was soulful and rather unique and fine. LA Reid said that he got it, Simon admitted that he was surprised and blown away and both Paula and Cheryl felt the electric atmosphere in the room and he got four yeses. Overall he was the best performer at the audition.
Cheryl Cole is an English pop and R&B recording artist, songwriter, dancer, actress and model. Cole became a judge on the British televised singing competition “The X Factor” in 2008. It was announced that Cole would leave the UK version of “The X Factor” for the upcoming American version of the show. However, just weeks into filming the auditions, it was reported that Cole had been axed from the show without any detail reason of her leaving and replacement with Nicole Scherzinger. Fox reality TV chief executive Mike Darnell has revealed that he has “no regrets” over Cheryl Cole’s sacking from “The X Factor USA”.
“It’s easy to love the one that’s gone, but Nicole is great too. Both are stunning but also very different. No regrets. But I also love Cheryl,” he said to media. Meanwhile Nicole, who gave a joint interview with Simon Cowell, insisted it hadn’t been uncomfortable to take Cheryl’s judging role after they’d worked together. She said, “Actually the judges and the hosts… I mean the schedule is grueling and we’re in two different areas so I didn’t actually get to work with her that much.” However, “The X Factor” fans are watching and waiting the performance of the new judge to prove that the reality show executives made an accurate decision to choose her to be the “The X Factor” judge.
“The X Factor” is a television talent show franchise originating in the United Kingdom, where it was planned as a replacement for “Pop Idol”. The singing competition is now held in various countries searching for talented singers who are drawn from public audition. The show, which had network competitors fearing that Fox could compete with the other singing contest like the size of “American Idol,” performed well in an objective sense. The show has attracted about 12.5 million viewers and scored an average 4.2 rating in the 18- to 49-year-old audiences that Fox mostly sells to advertisers.
The success of “The X-Factor” developing its record to be viewed by millions U.S viewers are with regard for the judges. They are L. A Reid, Nicole Scherzinger, Paula Abdul and the well-known vicious judge, Simon Cowell who have a great job on giving constructive criticism and censure for the contestants on the several audition places like L.A, Chicago, Newark, Miami, Dallas and Seattle. It has been reported that Mariah Carey will join Cowell to choose his finalists. Rihanna has also been confirmed to be a guest mentor; she will help Reid choose his finalists. Footage from Judges’ houses will be aired on October 12, 13 and 18 while on October 25, the judges will reveal their finalists.
