Ricky Martin was back to make the crowd starred on him and then makes him as hot topic. It was not about the new album or new single, but a show.  On Tuesday night, the Puerto Rican pop star made a guest appearance on the hit TV show Glee in his highly buzzed about role of David Martinez, a Spanish teacher who helps the Glee kids channel their inner Latino. Martin steals the show with a duet of  “La Isla Bonita” with Naya Rivera. It’s Martin’s bilingual rendition of LMFAO’s “I’m Sexy and I know It” that really has people talking.

Some of them said they enjoyed the La Isla Bonita performance more than “I’m Sexy and I Know it”. They said the fascination is not in Ricky’s performance, the choice of song or how strange Naya Rivera’s Spanish pronunciation was, but it was that a mainstream show, with as large a following as Glee, discussed the fact that by the year 2030 the majority of Americans will use Spanish as their first language, making it critical for every one to learn Spanish.

The return of La Vida Loca singer to television isn’t the only project he has been working on, he will be returning to Broadway in the revival of the musical Evita, playing the role of revolutionary Che Guevara. Martin’s popularity has grown so much that he has reached 5 million followers on Twitter. According to Michael Aussiello, there’s a good chance that schedules willing, “We could well see more of Ricky Martin’s character on Glee.” He said. Despite his commitments to Evita, they hope to fly him out a few times to film quick scenes, and he’s more than open to it. “I’m open to anything his hips are involved in.”
